Dr. Lulwa brings a mixture of private and public sectors experiences that set the ground for leading her consultancy and training services on developing people and developing organisations.

Dr. Lulwa is an international HR and Management Consultant, Speaker and Trainer. Dr. Lulwa has led and worked with international HR firms on several HR projects such as Talent Management & Succession Planning, Competency Development, HR Audit, HR consultancy, Job evaluation, TNA, Performance Management, Policy and Procedures manual development, Assessment Centers development, etc.

Dr. Lulwa was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration (August 2006) and the Oxford Innovation Award from the Oxford Management Association, UK. In 2007, she was also awarded a Professional Excellence Award from the Oxford Leadership Center and an OXCEL Fellowship from the Oxford Leadership Center UK.

Dr. Lulwa has a banking experience at one of the leading International Banks; Arab Banking Corporation B.S.C. where she progressed to the role of Senior Vice President – Group Head Human Resources & Administration. Her role was at a senior level leading Human Resource Management at both an operational and strategic level.

During her employment she has assumed several positions and roles that contributed towards a very successful and rewarding career. She has attended and delivered intensive professional training programs that have provided her with advanced executive knowledge and skills that enhance her contribution and delivery of business results.

Dr. Lulwa started her career in the Ministry of Health and the College of Health Sciences, where she held many positions and roles that contributed to a successful and highly rewarding career (technician, teacher, lecturer, Head of Training Program, Acting Head of the Department, Senior Curriculum Specialist and Head of the Education Development Center). She worked as Vice President of the University of Business and Technology in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where she also lectures the MBA courses. She has teaching experience at the University of Bahrain (part-time Assistant Professor), supervises MBA students at BIPA Bahrain and works as an external examiner for MBA students.

In December 2015, Dr. Lulwa received the award of Her Royal Highness Shaikha Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa for her role as a Bahraini woman who reached a major position in the banking and financial sector.

Dr. Lulwa was the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Bahrain Human Resource Development Fund for Banking & Financial Sector (HRD Fund), Ex. Vice Chairman, Women Empowerment Committee at the Supreme Council for Women, Director of Development & Studies, Bahrain Management Society, a life member of the Bahrain Society for Training and Human Development “BSTD” and President of the Training, Human Resource Development and Education Committee of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry “BCCI”. She is an ex-member of Board in the High Council of Vocational Training and currently Member of the Advisory Board at the Education and Training Quality Authority.

Throughout the years, Dr. Lulwa officially appointed at the Supreme Council of Women’s Economic Committee and Women Empowerment Committee (Vice Chairman) and Chairman of the Training, Human Resource and Education Committee of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry.  She was also appointed as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Bahrain Human Resource Development Fund for Banking & Financial Sector (HRD Fund). 

Dr. Lulwa has served the community as volunteer in many professional organizations such as Arabian Society for Human Resource Management (Ex. Board Member of ASHRM, بشرية), ) Bahrain Society for Training and Human Development (Life Member and a Member of the Higher Consultative Committee), Bahrain Management Society (Board Member), Bahrain Society for Small and Medium Enterprises (President, Board Member and Advisor), Bahrain Society for Private Training Institutes (Ex. President & Board Member).  The above roles provided her with the opportunity to represent different entities as a representative, keynote speaker, presenter, and chairperson in several local, regional and international Human Resources, Business and Leadership and Management events.  Moreover, Dr. Lulwa is an Associate Certified Coach of the International Coaching Federation “ACC ICF”, Vice President of the Consultative Council of the Arab Coaching Union, Accredited Small Enterprises Consultant and Qualified Angel Investor “QAI” of WBAF. 

At global level, Dr. Lulwa is a Global Advisor of Ladies of All Nations International “LOANI”, Head of Arab World Division of International Youth Society “IYS” and an Editorial Board Member of Human Resource Development Review HRDR Journal, USA.
