Shaima is a highly ambitious trainer and entrepreneur who has proved her capabilities in several fields. Shaima has several years of experience in the Banking field, coaching and empowerment and as an entrepreneur. Professionally, she is currently holding the position of Partner & Managing director at Square Meter Design Media, and founder & Managing Director of Trendy Palace Tailoring where she has successfully formulated and applied the company policies, developed the strategic operating plans, monitors operating and financial results against plans and budgets, manages the company’s Public Relations, recruits staff members, and creates and presents the company’s advertising campaigns. Shaima previously held the position of Section Head – Credit Portfolio Risk Analyst, Senior Officer – Risk Department at AlBaraka Islamic Bank and Credit Associate at Standard Chartered Bank.

Academically, Shaima holds a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Bahrain. She has completed 13 papers of the Associate Certified Chartered Accountant, ACCA program, and is expected to complete the certificate requirements by June 2019. She is also currently pursuing the Level 1 paper in Advanced Performance Management. Shaima has a deep interest in developing individuals and assisting them obtaining their potential. To further support her interest she has successfully completed several professional certifications in the field, such as, the Executive Coaching and Mentorship Program Certificate, the Professional Certificate in Organizational Coaching (CMOC) and Entrepreneurship and Leadership program (CIPE).
