Generation Gap – Closing the Generation Gap in the Workplace

Course Overview:

The workplace today comprises employees from different generations, each with their unique values, beliefs, and communication styles. This diversity can create a generation gap that can lead to conflicts, misunderstandings, and reduced productivity. This 2-day course is designed to help participants understand the differences between generations, overcome the generation gap, and create a harmonious workplace.

On day one, participants will learn about the different generations in the workplace, their values, beliefs, and communication styles. They will explore how these differences can lead to misunderstandings and conflicts. Participants will also learn how to recognize their own biases and stereotypes and develop strategies to overcome them.

On day two, participants will develop their skills in bridging the generation gap. They will learn effective communication techniques, including active listening and empathetic communication. Participants will also learn how to manage conflict constructively and create a collaborative workplace culture.

Participants will also develop a personal action plan to apply their learnings in their workplace.
